Dew or Water Retted Flax Top — We stock Dew Retted Flax instead of Water retted flax because the Dew Retted Flax is more environmentally friendly. The quality is fairly coarse, long fibers but not too long. Spinning is easy with this combed top and can be used for a variety of projects.

Super Fine Water Retted Flax Top — The flax is split and combed in a special, patented process used by our supplier. It is a finer flax than our dew retted flax.

Bleached Flax Top — A combed tow with shorter flax fibers, easy to spin and can be dry spun or wetspun without distaff.

Flax Stricks — A combed long line flax that is 18" to 24" long. This is wrapped and sold in stricks.

Hemp (new and improved!) — Hemp is a vegetable fiber, like flax, and is easy to grow, although for a long time it was not allowed to be grown in North America. Our hemp top is very fine, high quality fiber.
