Jane Stafford Textiles is a mail order supplier of yarns, kits, weaving and spinning equipment, and books for weavers. Our showroom and studio is located at 142 Richard Flack Road on Salt Spring Island, the largest of B.C.'s Gulf Islands.

The Old-Ladies-With-String Digest
Jane started weaving in 1978 in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Her studies took her to Banff, Alberta, where she studied, was a teaching assistant and taught at the Banff School of Fine Arts. She moved to Salt Spring in 1988 and opened her business. Jane Stafford Textiles produces a line of mohair blankets, silk scarves and chenille stoles. Jane also teaches a variety of workshops from beginnner to advanced levels in Canada and the United States.
